Bella Poarch was born in the Philippines on February 9, 1997 to her natural Filipino parents. Her mother was living in slums with her biological parents until when she was 3 years old. Then she was adopted. Her adoptive father, a Filipino-American with military background, was white, and American. The woman claims that she along with her adopted brother as well as their mother were abused in their childhoods until they joined the military. Following a brief time at San Francisco, her family moved to Texas to aid her father undergo a bypass procedure. Her father did not stop the psychological abuse, even though she claims that physical violence had subsided. At the age of 18, Poarch enlisted into the United States Navy. Poarch launched her TikTok account in April 2020 and quickly became a household name with more than 40 million fans in less than eight months. The video that zoomed showed her lip-syncing and jumping into the tune in synchronized time with it went viral. The actress started her YouTube as well as Twitter accounts during the time following joining TikTok to benefit from her rising fame.
